The CAP National Commander and the CAP-USAF Commander have joined together to ensure everyone in CAP understands that Safety Risk Management is an emphasis item in all our missions and activities.  In their letter to all CAP members, entitled simply “Safety Risk Management,” the Commanders make it clear that risk management will be a part of everything we do in the Civil Air Patrol, from planning, to execution, to mission completion, and beyond.  Every mission and every activity in CAP will be guided by sound risk management principles, while the national staff continues to review every facet of our missions and operations to ensure risk management is an integral part of all we do.  Read here: Safety Risk Management Letter
