AIF changes have been posted to the AIF webpage. These changes include minor changes to what was previously known as the ORM forms, as well as the removal of language from the mission symbol listing (i.e., Aircraft Flight Time Log 2 or 07_AIF_FLT_LOG_2.pdf) needed to support glider and tow proficiency flying. Most significantly, this release includes a new standard for a glider-specific Aircraft Information File (AIF-G) which will not be carried in the cockpit. The AIF-G Cover is currently being incorporated into the WMIRS Maintenance Module and should be released shortly. All AIF changes should be incorporated no later than 21 Jun 2018. Construction of new AIF-G documents should be complete no later than 21 Jul 18. |
