The schedule for completing the new CAPWATCH application was impacted by additional work required to ready the CAPR 70-1 changes for release. As a result, CAPWATCH testing concluded a little more than a week later than planned. Testing conducted by the TAG/FUG found one discrepancy that needs to be corrected before it can be released. The National Commander has approved a delay in the launch date for the new Online CAPWATCH application, as well as for the sunset of the old process. The new system will be available to accept CAPWATCH requests on 11 December. The sunset date for the old process has been moved back a week to 9 January 2018.
