WMIRS 2.0 is up and ready for you and your personnel for FY15. There are a few things you or your staff will need to do right away for your missions happening now:

- Check and adjust the mission types on your actual missions. These could not be imported from WMIRS 1.0.

- Wings and Regions with approved training plans must check and adjust mission dates, types, and funding for your training missions and submit them. If you increase funding beyond what was requested and approved in your training plan, your Liaison Region will need to approve the change in scope to the mission.

- Wings and Regions that do not have approved training plans must enter their initial training missions individually for approval by the Liaison Regions, or wait until your training plan is approved and follow the procedures above to conduct training operations.

- Upload your operations plans for your training missions.

- Sign-in your personnel to the missions and add them onto sorties as necessary.

- Sign-in non-CAP passengers scheduled to fly.

- The permissions for your 108 approvers has been carried forward to WMIRS 2.0. All Wing and Region Commanders, Vice Commanders and Chiefs of Staff automatically have these permissions. Commanders or your WSA can adjust these permissions. We'd suggest you review your list of approvers to be sure it is correct.

- The permissions for your mission approval authorities has also been carried forward to WMIRS 2.0. Wing or Region Commanders as well as your Vice Commanders and Chiefs of Staff have been assigned privileges to a dashboard in WMIRS 2.0 to provide you quick access to approve missions and other WMIRS 2.0 command functions under the Wing Commanders menu. The option to add other personnel to view this menu and approve missions is provided through the WSA module as well.
